Hi!
Welcome to Badan's World. My name is Lawrence a.k.a. Badan. I'm 16 and
I live in the great white north. Actually I live in the center of
Canada (what a great place, gag). I go to a school that resembles an octopus
more than a building. With St. Ignatius High School's small drama
department I try to do as much as possible. Starting this year I'm
directing a play called Deadly Betrayals and it has become the controversy
of the 11th grade (don't ask why). This year I brought the Drama Club to
the first Cambrian One Act Play Festival and we won two awards. We performed
a play called Being Alone which I wrote, directed and acted. I have
worked on many other plays & skits at school including last years "Noises
Off". I have also worked with Thunder Bay's "Actors Repertory Theater"
(it was a blast!) and presently I'm training once a week at Northern Ontario's
only professional theater. It isn't the greatest but "Magnus" does try
their best. Also at school I have become a journalist (ya right), ok
I've been writing reviews and other small columns for the school newspaper
called "The Voice". In June of 1998 I was elected to the board of directors
at Cambrian Players. Presently I am the youngest board member at Cambrian.
Right now I'm writing a play which I call O.W. It's based off of Orson
Welles life during the making of his famous flim "Citizen Kane". My biggest
collection/hobbies is movies. I have over 500 movies in my collection and
growing. I don't really have a favorite, but I will tell you that i enjoy
comedy and thrillers. Well I think that's enough talk for now. Feel free
to wander around.
Enjoy Your Visit!
